In Blue Room, we continued practicing our ground rules. The children have displayed an understanding and showed care for the works; returning them to its respectful places and learning to respect others by also practicing their grace and courtesy skills. In addition, we introduced the calendar where we practiced reading and counting and continued the tradition of counting the number of days of school.
This week in Blue Room, we welcomed many new friends and focused on getting to know each other. We also reviewed some important lessons like unrolling and rolling a rug; carrying a tray and asking for a lesson on a work and sitting in circle. We also focused on safety as we visited the 6th floor gym this rainy week where the children created structures and engaged in pretend play with the blue blocks. Stay tuned for more updates next week!
