My name is Sofia and I've been an HPMS student for 10 years. My favorite subject is Humanities because I get to learn about different people's points of view on important historical events. Some things that I enjoy are skiing, sailing, hiking, swimming, singing and traveling. In the future, I would like to work at the United Nations or do work as a reporter.

Promoting Peace // Montessori Model UN

I have been participating in MMUN for the past 5 years.  Most recently, I went to Hangzhou, China to participate in the MMUN Conference there. Innovation & Critical Thinking

This is my STEM fair project. I created a solar powered cargo ship. I was inspired to create this project because I want to save animals and decrease pollution in the oceans. It can also help reduce climate change.

Family, Friends & Fun

I love spending time with my friends and family doing activities like hiking, skiing and singing. After my trip to China this fall with MMUN, I can't wait to do more traveling!

Community Service

In 2016, I participated in the Peace Train, a singing and community service event meant to bring awareness to peace around the world.
